Son günlerde Türkiye'nin çeşitli şehirlerinde başlayan sivrisinek ısırıkları salgını birçok insanı etkiliyor. Batı Nil Virüsü gibi farklı virüslerin yayılımında da etkili olan sivrisinek ısırıklarına karşı Sağlık Bakanlığı korunma rehberi hazırladı.

İstanbul'da son yıllarda çoğalan sivrisinekler nedeniyle hastanelere başvurular arttı.

Acil Tıp ve Parazitoloji Uzmanı Prof. Dr. Hakan Oğuztürk, Aedes türü sivrisineklerin özellikle Batı Nil Ateşi hastalığına neden olduğunu söyledi.

Sağlık Bakanlığı'ndan sivrisineklere karşı alınacak önlemler

Şişlik, kaşıntı ve kızarıklık ile belirti veren sivrisinek ısırmalarına karşı Sağlık Bakanlığı rehber yayımladı, alınacak önlemler sıralandı.

Rehbere göre sivrisineklerin yaşam alanı olan kaynaklar kurutulmalı.

Yarım kalan sular da tehlike arz ediyor

Evlerin etrafında bulunan su birikintileri, sarnıç, su depolama tanklarının üzeri kapatılmalı.

Sonbaharla birlikte sezonu biten havuzlar boşaltılmalı, dolu havuzların üzeri de kapalı olmalı.

Prof. Dr. Oğuztürk, kovalar da yarım kalan suların da bir süre bekletildiğinde sivrisinekler için ideal bir ortam oluşturduğunu aktardı.

Evlerde sarı ampul kullanımı da koruyucu tedbirlerden

Sivrisineklerin yoğun olduğu bölgelerde uzun kollu gömlek, pantolon gibi kapalı kıyafetler tercih edilmeli. Kapı ve pencerelere sineklik takılmalı.

Sivrisinekler en ufak deliklerden içeri girerek korunmuş ve sıcak ortamda üreyebiliyor. Bu nedenle havalandırma borularının üzeri tül ile kapatılmalı.

Sinekler üzerinde itici bir etkisinin olması nedeniyle ev ve teraslarda sarı renkli ampul kullanılması da koruyucu tedbirler arasında.
