6 yaşındaki kız çocuğunun istismarı davasına ilişkin CNN Türk’te açıklamalarda bulunan konuşan Aile ve Sosyal Hizmetler Bakanı Derya Yanık, “Toplanmayan deliller toplandıktan sonra maddi gerçeği artık mahkemelerimiz ortaya çıkaracak. Bizim bakanlık olarak buradaki sorumluluğumuz, mağdurun ihtiyacı olduğu sürece korunması, psikososyal olarak desteklenmesi, barınma ihtiyacının giderilmesi ve dava sürecinde haklarının hukuki anlamda da korunması. Her türlü sorumluluğumuzu yerine getireceğiz” dedi.

Eğitime erişimin zor olduğu yerlerde erken yaşta evliliklerin daha çok olduğunu belirten Yanık, 23 ilde acil eylem planı oluşturduklarını ve mücadeleyi sürdürdüklerini dile getirerek, “14 yaşındaki kız çocuğu istismara uğramışsa doktorun bunu ihbar etme yükümlülüğü var. Herhangi bir kamu personeli bundan haberdar olduğunda gereğini yapmak zorunda” diye konuştu.
